Steve Hazell (Guitar & Vocals)

Steve Hazell has over 30 years experience of guitar playing, he originally started at the age of 15, when he bought his first electric guitar an Impact 6 string costing £22.50 at the time from Allen's Music in Great Yarmouth. He firstly studied and learned classical guitar and ragtime blues with John George a local tutor from 1979 to 1985,  but soon became very interested in other types of music. His influences are Steve Howe of Yes, John Williams, Rory Gallagher and Dave Gilmore of Pink Floyd. Steve uses a Bathroom Blue Fender American Standard Stratocaster, a Washburn tuned in 'G' and used with a slide, an Ovation Acoustic and a Honer Steinberger. For amplification he uses a Fender Evil Twin to achieve soon very ' oo ee' sounds as he puts it. Steve is still currently studying guitar grades to date with Ian Dyball a local guitar tutor, and expanding his already wide knowledge of guitar playing. He also has good knowledge of PA's systems and has taken a lot time out reading and learning to help the group achieve their overall sound.
